Admiral's Keep is in it's first summer of rental. This private family cottage has been professionally renovated to high standards. Admiral's Keep bungalow is situated across from North Shore Park near the harbour in Port Elgin (Saugeen Shores) Ontario Canada. North Shore Park borders the shore and features a playground for young children and a lovely shaded picnic area for those summer lunches. Just a stroll to the nicest beach in Saugeen Shores. Admiral's Keep is situated at the quiet end of the beach. Take a ride on our miniature steam train or play mini golf at the public beach. Enjoy an ice cream walking the sandy shores of Lake Huron.
Outside features a front cement patio with outdoor lounge area and firepot and cement driveway. The backyard features a full length stone patio with stainless propane BBQ and patio set for those summer evenings. A car port with sunset patio above and patio chairs enhance your entertainment pleasure. Spend an evening entertaining guests in the beautifully decorated sun porch. Wireless internet provided.
Three large bedrooms, a brand new four piece bathroom as well as a new three piece bathroom to pamper it's guests. Master bedroom is equipped with queen size bed and the second and third bedrooms with double beds.
The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for that summer entertaining. Bright and large eat in dining area is a fantastic spot for those inside meals or long hours of card games. The kitchen dining area features vinyl flooring. A washer and dryer are supplied for it's guests use and can be found off the kitchen between the second bathroom and kitchen. There are two gas fireplaces; one in the dining area and one in the cosy living room are fantastic for those cool evenings. Large French doors from the living room extend your entertainment area onto the back stone patio.
This bungalow is supplied with town water and town sewer. Make this your next home away from home getaway!
Bring your clubs and visit our three golf courses. Visit MacGregor Point Provincial Park with it's boardwalk and interpretive program or winter cross country ski trails. Visit the park and feed the song birds right out of your palm. Self drive tours of the lighthouses is a great day investigating our County. Take the "Peerless" over to Chantry Island for a tour of the in keepers house and the lighthouse itself. Go antiquing around Grey and Bruce Counties along our country roads. Sit and have a coffee in one of our cafés in either Southampton or Port Elgin. Visit our shops for local delicacies. Try a day trip to Tobermory for a glass bottom boat trip or world famous fudge. Saugeen Shores is home to various festivals in events through out the year.
